Waiters are a breed onto their own – don’t expect them to rush to serve you or to get your check in a hurry, just one thing to get used to.

Don’t go to Buenos Aires expecting anyone to know English, so learn a basic touch of Spanish and it will go a long way.
Most Taxi drivers are good but watch out there are a still few dodgy ones still around. Make sure you have at least some idea on what direction you are heading as some ‘take the long way round’.
Buenos Aires is an easy city to walk around so get out there and explore it.
